What I've learned so far: insurance reps have zero fiduciary duty to you. If they sell you a bum policy and you have to pay massively out of pocket, it's NTFP. Also, unless if you've got all your paper work squeaky clean and tight, you can look forward to your insurance company stonewalling you. Every. Inch. Of. The. Way. Damn, even financial services doesn't play like that! Also, buy an umbrella policy. Just do it.
