What a way to start the books to be written about Christoper Pike's crew and their Enterprise. This book is an entire world, a planet of people relocated from other planets and Earth that purports to live without technology, and thus to avoid humankind's wars.

With parts of it birthed by Jonathan Archer's Enterprise, the episode called North Star", and from Star Trek:Discovery's episode "New Eden". Monumental work.
