So they canceled Swamp Thing's awesome solo title, then pulled him into the dud that was the Challengers of the Unknown (which had awful art & writing, in addition to its boring as sin generic main cast). Geez. It's even worse when you read the script & sketches for the Swamp Thing issue that was nearly done when they canceled his title -- fighting Hawkman in Portland, Oregon? YES PLEASE. Dangit.

...Aaaaaaand here's a stumbling block. I was having a hard enough time handling the abrupt transition from gothic-horror to standard superhero fare -- but then having him go from wandering mutated loner who's the focus of his own series to random yutz on a tedious typically-'70s superhero team? UGH.
