I love to talk shit about Dracula adaptations bc they always try to downplay Mina and Jonathan’s relationship to lift up the toxic dark romance gothic horror of the vampire and like. How does this late 1800s book have more of an adorable healthy relationship than most vampire romances written TODAY. Fuck off. Mina and Jonathan match each other’s FREAK. They care abt each other so much why would you ignore them.

The time loop has reset and my good friend Jonathan Harker is once again in Transylvania for a business trip! I hope it goes well for him :)

This book has a phenomenal writing style that really keeps you on your toes, and the cast of Re: Dracula is an incredible talent that has made my commutes to and from school far less dreadful. But Christ, the way women are written in this book just Sucks. Mina, I love you darling but you are TOO not like other girls. And the men just go on these tangents about how women are so sensitive and I just. Ugh. Whatever.
