It's taken me quite a long time to read this, but I feel like I've learned so much from it. Reading slowly and taking in the information from this book has been very rewarding.

It was snowing as she left, followed by her huge company. As she did so, Alexander went from window to window of the palace to catch the last glimpse of his beloved daughter.

See you around, Giovanni Sforza!
This is really interesting. I'm learning not just about Lucrezia, but her brothers (who I've been interested in for years, probably why I'm enjoying it so much), her father the Pope, and the other people in her life. I think people who want to read about Lucrezia exclusively will find this a bit wearing, though.

Hello! She's busy charming her new d'Este father in law at the moment :) The Showtime series? Yes I have, and have have an unpopular opinion of it because I really loved the first two series. I know the history is all over the place (to put it mildly) but as a drama series it really worked for me. I didn't enjoy series 3 as much as the first two though. I quite fancy the other series Borgia: Faith and Fear but would have to buy it on DVD to watch it.
Thanks, Sarah! I've not watched the show myself but was recommended to, and wasn't sure how good it was :).

Just dropping by to ask something I meant to before and forgot: have you watched the show based on this family, "The Borgias"?
