This book is very good and infuriating at the same time. The message it sends is to forgive ur abuser because ✨reasons✨, and if the abuser is family you should accept cause they’re ✨family✨. book doesn’t specifically say that but if my partner told me to let a sibling who’d abused me on several occasions, stay at my house.. “cause our children needs at least one uncle” I’d feel so betrayed.

Just as disappointing every time he rapes her and the book doesn’t even recognize that it is rape. And it makes me panic every time reading it. I’ve continued this series cause it’s good otherwise but honestly don’t know if I will continue anymore.
