i found out that she is a game developer and has to be in the game to make sure it doesn't glitch . but no one knows that she is the game developer which may lead to a conflict later.there was also talk about "black hair" which may come back as rasim later in the book.

i realized that slay is a card game where the cards give you power. these powers may mean something like the jimi hendrix card after his song purple haze because the card makes a purple haze blinding the other payer. i ahd a aha moment because i noticed that she made the game with someone else

i noticed that her game slay is a vr game and is based on black culture. i believe is foreshadowing because this could come to be a problem later in the book. i also noticed that her name in slay is emerald which might mean something to her
