Holy shit so much action and TEARS, a book hasn’t made me cry this hard in YEARS 😭😭

Okay, yeah, now I get it. Dain is absolutely the worst, Tamlin doesn’t even come close to how much of an asshole Dain has become.

Love love love this. Tho not the best enemies to lovers since they’re so much heat between them so soon when they’re not really enemies. But Xaden really gives me Rhysand + Darkling vibes (in a good way)

The differences between Dain and Xaden are like might and day. I don’t think I hate Dain simply for being a different person than Xaden. But overall I’m loving the story- if Eragon and An Ember in the Ashes had a baby, it would be this book. Also, this is low level enemies to lovers and on that I am disappointed.

I’m getting more Eragon vibes than Game of Throne vibes like everyone was raging about (even tho I only read the first Eragon book so far)
