it’s is so sad how poorly organized this book is like it has so much potential to be an influential book of how hip hop has evolved and it’s complex relationship to the black public sphere. I really think that this book was produced with no editing. It’s just the author saying what they think and backing it up rather than informing the reader. idk that’s just how i interpret it…

don’t think i like the writing style of this book but we digress
