Major Pettigrew's Last Stand was a treasured read. I enjoyed spending time with the witty and inteligent Major Pettigrew. I also loved the compassion of Mrs. Ali and how she always put family first.
The two were destined to be friends and then some.
I recommend for all who love a sweet read.

I am enjoying this novel so far. I like the Major and Mrs. Ali's characters for sure.
