Everyone needs a fiercely loyal friend like Kate in their lives.

To be very honest, the overarching romance is quite sweet. Despite the struggles both of them go through, their true character. Their true intentions of wanting good for the other shines through. It's surprisingly refreshing.

Protagonist's constant reference to her subconscious mind is quite entertaining 😂

It's really interesting to me how she keeps realising how weird it is. How it goes against the human nature, and it is torturous for Ana at the start to accept the way Grey is. I like how close it is to what I perceive the reality would be like.

I don't think I will be continuing the series but I would say that this us a 4 start read for me till now. Looking forward to see how their relationship develops.

To judge any book of a genre you are not acclaimed with, it takes one drawing experience from one's own self since they won't have anything to compare it with. Rthis being one such book, I think there were 2 aspects of this book. The erotica and the deep emotional state, emotional vulnerability that people fall into when they come into relationships. For that, I would say it did it's job quite well.
