Jayson
Jayson is on page 78 of 156

Notes:
(1) "Youngblood" is mentioned a bunch in these first three issues!
- Before my time, so I can only assume "Youngblood" was a massive hit.
- Still, it's a lot of name-dropping just to establish a shared Image universe.
(2) It's a shame that all the double-page spreads are reproduced without the connecting gutters.
- It looks like the pages are creased down the middle.

Jayson’s Previous Updates

Jayson
Jayson is on page 146 of 156

Notes:
(1) For an artist-led book, this is really text-heavy.
(2) This series doesn't really get going until the fourth issue.
- That's when you finally get answers about who everyone is, what powers Spawn has, and what his raison d'etre is.
- Issue #5, where he goes after a child killer, is a prototype story: purely a showcase of abilities and what to expect going forward.

Jayson is starting

Notes:
(1) Time for my annual October buddy-read with my comic book crew.
- This year's theme is Spawn.
(2) I've never read a Spawn comic before. Can't say I've ever been interested either.
- I think I may have caught the '90s movie flipping through the channels, but if so I don't remember very much.
- Really, I'm almost exclusively a DC guy, so far as continuing series go.
