Got about halfway through and I'll be completely honest, I skimmed the end to see where we were heading and oh my goodness it was tonal whiplash. Currently my brain is just not in a reading-era and so I feel like I'm not appreciating the book properly so I've put it on pause <3 Going to try and read something smaller to kick the slump
