That was a great chapter!

That was a really wholesome chapter and makes me want to actually read Cade’s story now (???)

Almost near the end! I don’t know how this will wrap up…

If more of these chapters were like that, this book would move up to a 3/5 stars for me.

This is currently a 2 star book for me. Sorry. I thought I was going to love it like Tessa Bailey’s books but the hero pisses me off and the male gaze in the book is insane. It’s not written for women, I’m dead serious.

Now I get why Summer isn’t a girls girl.

I’m getting back undertones in this book btw — it feels like it’s for the male gaze, and it has so much patriarchal / misogyny, I’m flabbergasted that this was written by a woman.

It’s not even that big of a red flag. It’s just the constant micro amounts of it that are killing me… and I read a lot of problematic romances, people!
