Now in the book, the ocean has become a refuge. As they swim deep to survive, they can't find any food. It has become more depressing. Especially now that Vega and her brother are lost, away from their family.

Currently in the book we travel further to the climax. Now at the rising action, we see more problems unfold. The mother of Vega, the main character, was pregnant in the book. However, when she had the baby, it did not last till morning. This makes a heavy toll onto Vega, as she was depressed knowing her little sister didn't make it. She snatched the dead lying body of her sister, and ran to a memorial place to bury.

So far, from Friday, which I forgot to update, the book has been about growing up independently and trying to lead her family. The main character, the whale Vega, wants to make her family proud. Vega lives with her pod in the Salish Sea. She has her grandma, uncle, mom, baby in mom's stomach, brother, and so many more. When leading her family to fish, she accidentally ends up leading them into a human boat.
