I performed desperate surgery on my Kindle to revive it (success!) and continue this classic... How can this be the same book I was compelled to read so many years ago?! I am wrapped up in its language; every night when I return to it, I feel, smell and see the wild ocean and obsession. I don't even mind the exhaustive cetological explanations, they appeal to my armchair biologist nature.
