DNF @ 46% ~ honestly I stopped reading this like 2 weeks ago, it was just so bad. The first book was so good and had lots of promise but then it was like “let me throw in all the stereotypical twists and cliches but not actually try to make it make sense.” So yeah. Also main girl was making me pull my hair out. So so so dumb.

Homegirl is pissing me off, idk if I’m going to finish it. Literally everyone in the entire book is like “you are not pregnant with a child, it’s a demon harbinger antichrist apocalypse bringing parasite that is going to burst out of you alien v predator style” and she’s just like no he’s innocent he didn’t do anything and they’re like BITCH IT ISNT A HE IT ISNT ALIVE IT WILL KILL YOU & EVERYONE ELSE

I really hope they reveal some deeper shit going on because so far the whole plot of the story has been driven by a stubborn prostitute and an impatient soul and if that’s all, like it’s not that deep bro 😂
