Continuing to be impressed by details of characterisation on every page, most recently the moth-catching divorce lawyer and Alexandrovitch lisping on 'suffering' in the middle of his speech and Levin working himself up into passions of economic theory over a fresh-faced woman in clogs.

Levin is the most boring self-insert I've read in a while, but I love Kitty's arc, she seems so real and so much like myself and other women I know. Dolly and Anna and their assorted husbands and lovers with too many names between them to keep track of are all fun too, but Levin really has to go. I can't believe I managed to sit through several pages of him mowing grass.
