OKAY I REACHED THE “I PROTECT MY INVESTMENTS” SCENE 😱

So far I… do not love it as much as everyone had promised me I would??? I love it when books are binge-readable and when the characters are relatable, but here… nothing??? Unjustified cruelty, loathsome descriptions of injuries, kinda flat plot… Idk maybe it’s the Russian translation I am listening to, but I kinda doubt that that is the problem. I really hope it gets better soon!

All that is kinda cruel. I guess there is a story behind Kaz’s actions, but rn they seem ruthless and excessive :(

I kinda pity Big Bolliger :(
