I am really enjoying this brief book thus far; Justin Wadland describes the surroundings for the time period with some very imaginative prose and approaches his subject with great empathy--especially for the settlers of Home, WA. It's been a delightful read for the 4th of July weekend, 2015. I also appreciate his own personal life interjections into his writing.
