100 pages in so it feels like a good time to hash out my thoughts.

I like the writing style. Every few pages there’s a sentence that shakes me in a good way. “I don’t talk things... I talk the meaning of things. I sit here and know I’m alive” (71).

It’s a book that makes you think abt life. I think some people don’t like it bc they were forced to read for school, but it’s been a great read thus far.

“How like a mirror, too, her face. Impossible; for how many people did you know that refracted your own light to you? …How rarely did other people’s faces take of you and their back to you your own expression, your own innermost trembling thought?”
