Reading cautiously because each word has deeper meaning.
Decolonised societies fell into two Categories:
1. Societies that had a stronger sense of indigenous consciousness, sought to compensate for continuing with European political legacy.
2. Europeanised native elites had stepped into the shoes of the coloniser and recast native masses into European mould.
I guess Bharat might have both categories imbedded in it.

Guess why I’m starting this book obviously recently watched his podcast with Smitha Prakash about the recent Genocidal speech of “Eradication of Sanatana Dharma” by I won’t name that creature. The way JSD articulates his thoughts and how eloquently he speaks. Wanted dive into his book which has been in my attic for two years. We’ll see how it goes.
