I'm terribly annoyed by the others frequent references to military studies (read imperialist armies) as evidence for his thesis. Imperialism has caused so much violence and destruction throughout history, and using examples of military studies to back up a thesis does not reflect well on the author's values.

What type of author calls the U.S. imperialist bombing and destruction of Iraq, “Operation Iraqi Freedom.” Even if that’s a U.S. propaganda term, it should be used without critique. He uses a so-called study of sleep patterns to show how less elective the imperialist army were less effective at their terrorism when they were sleep deprived and fatigued.
