I'll try my absolute very best!! :)) I won't be reading (or reviewing) as much as before, but at least I'll read all of your reviews *g* Seriously, though, I have no idea where the last year went, it feels like it was last spring, then there was Christmas, and now we're here.
Oh - since I'm so out of the whole picture - is there any book you'd recommend? Maybe something funny, light-hearted? Would be awesome!
Don't worry - it's the same here and I don't have a baby, not even my kids do. LOL! I'll think about a book to recommend, right now nothing comes to mind. Oh wait, this one was fun and it's free: Wrong DirectionCongratulations to your daughter! Hope everything's fine :)
Thanks, I'll definitely look into this! Raya's doing great, it's really fun having her around, even if it's damn stressful as well ;-D She started to crawl about a week ago and now we're just running after her to make sure she isn't wreaking too much havoc to her surroundings :) She's way too curious for her own good, but I love that she's so keen and active all the time. ... argh, don't ask a new parent about their kid or they're going to drone on and on :))
I hope everything's good with you, too!!
Ha, yes, that sounds like fun and work! I remember everything got more easy when they were able to sit by themselves and eat a Brezn:) Everything's ok with us, we are still traveling a lot, my daughter returned a few weeks ago from her yearlong trip-around-the-world and is now living with us until her BF gets a job and they know where to look for an apartment. She will start her additional training as a psychotherapist in September as well as her PhD.
Congrats to your PhD!!!
I'm still reading a lot, but somehow I think I'm getting more and more picky, my 5* reads are less frequent.
Oh wow, lots going on with you and your family! Good luck to your daughter, PhD and psychotherapist training are a LOT of work, but I know some people who do it and like it!I'll definitely have to scroll through your book ratings then, because I think I'm way more picky than I used to be as well. I skimmed through an Amy Lane book just recently and was way disappointed, I don't think that would have happened two years ago. But the less time you have, the more you want to spend it with actually good books.
