If you love Baseball and the story of a Family developing and learning to live, love, and support each other despite differences and qualms then it is perfect for you. I love it but it definitely is a slow going book and more about continuing on a journey through the years of a family with 5 children.
Sounds good! Those kinds of books aren't for everyone, but are usually very fulfilling to those who can stick with it. :)
