i get the argument of how this book is extremely tell rather than 'show' but at the same time i find it hilarious how this is marketed as 'mainstream dark academia book' when most people miss the point of it - i think its pretty nice for people who want to get into a specific genre of fiction bc it raises some pretty good questions

making vv slow progress with this one but thats ok. BRO. rf kuang is a fucking genius. idk how but shes got all the necessities of writing the perfect fantasy novel down so well. even tho said fantasy novel doesnt really qualify as a traditional fantasy novel imo
