The best non-villain-WTF scene in Unconquered was when the secondary hero sexes up the heroine while quoting at length from Song of Solomon. >:D
Oh JFC, Valdez has Mark and Passion verbally bone over it in Passion. -____- Riario and Zita did it much better in Da Vinci's Demons. Just sayin'. :P

It amuses me when prudish romance readers get all squicky about sex, given the blatant content of that particular book...in the BIBLE. >:)/subtle jibe
