Notes:
(1) As much as I hate to read books out of order, in this case by publication date, this is due back at my library imminently.
- However, even though this is designated on Goodreads as book 2.5, every retail site says it was published on the same day as "The Dark Prophecy," so I suppose it could just as well be book 1.5. Though that may be a typo, since the official website says it came out three months later.

Notes:
(1) There's a story here about James Dean, son of Aphrodite, and the events that led to his death. Also here is a Q&A with Percy, Annabeth and Nico, reminiscent of those fluffy camper interviews from past companion books.
- So, the level of seriousness is all over the place.
(2) I wouldn't consider this a standalone. You'd need to have familiarity to appreciate this.

Notes:
(1) I find that lots of these stories by lesser-known characters, and perhaps because it's later into the book, are just lessons on various Ancient Greek topics framed as recollections.
- e.g. Malcolm having recurring visions of the Panathenaia is just a lesson on that festival and Valentina finding a locked trunk full of clothes is just a lesson on ancient garments.

Notes:
(1) This isn't the usual short story collection that accompanies every Riordan series.
- They aren't so much short stories as they are anecdotes by familiar characters.
- So, instead of three or four short stories per book, you two or three anecdotes per section for more than a dozen in total.
(2) Nice to know the origin of the Camp. Apparently, it was Apollo's idea.
