I had known that the Great Emancipator felt the burden of weight in what he was trying achieve The stress it was taking on his body. The weathered look to his many portraits. But to read how emotional it was, amount of death on both sides, the teary look in his eyes, at seeing and hearing the wave of cheers in knowing and seeing the Great Emancipator was, makes me revere him even that much more.

I found this book. I have been wanting to read it because of another book I read on Lincoln. In this book, I can see how the duality of being a man, fallible as anyone else, and the President was breaking him.
