I love the shift of PoV from Darzo to Kylar. One used to be a little more dominant in the beginning and have more 'spotlight' then it shifted. Best part so far? The reveal of who Darzo was all those years ago. Great writing.

Progress nicely and has many subplots, as expected from a high fantasy setting. Nothing quite making me skim at this point.

Nice engaging characters. Some of the flow is like seeing a movie with mutliple PoVs but this is par for the course for fantasy settings.
