James A. Moore's "City of the Dead" was quite the story! Evocative, exciting, dangerous and deadly. AND he pulled off sharing TWO dastardly and humorous duos. TWO! In addition to sharing a spooky city and a deadly high priest. That's some good writing.

"Waters of Death" returns us to the regularly scheduled Sword & Sorcery after a brief detour in the previous story.

Cullen Bunn's story is future/modern set and more horror/dark fantasy, yet still it continues the S&S toned stories! Longer with lots of parts and hints to a larger whole, but a fun story.

Whoa, "The Scythian" story and character are rather cool and impressive. Another S&S tale! This anthology is doing far better than the last one at being what it claims.

"Justified: Something worth Saying" - another good story! This anthology is rocking the S&S! Starting to realize the art is just inserted though, not associated with the stories, so while that's cool, it's not as cool.

great vengeance story from Bracken MacLeod; though sorcerous, definitely a S&S heroine!

terrific storytelling from Charles R. Rutledge, fun S&S tale!
