This is my favorite book I’m re reading it to gain even more insights that I may have over read my first two times reading.
Drizzt is brought up in a family that is efficient in what qualities he finds opposite to his beliefs but beliefs that are what is cherished by his society. The dark elf enjoys deceiving and calculating situations to get the favor of their god. I’m to the part where he just had a set back

Made it to Graduation. Drizzt is becoming more aware of the depths of cruelty of society. But he hasn’t quite figured out some of the plans against him and his family. His natural ability is so much over every one else. I feel he lacks the strategy or awareness of the strategy others create around him. He is very skilled at adjusting on the fly. Adapting to real-time situations.
