Fucking finally done with this meh series

For some reason, I thought this was an OLD book
Like pre house isador ???

Which just makes it worse bc finding out it’s not… well, the many shitty aspects and details of this series was one too many. What a disappointment fr. Ugh

Somehow finished. Two stars? Ugh even that seems a bit much

My god this trilogy is so short
Not even five hundred pages
And yet it keeps dragging on and on like a stinky fart without end..except farts could be argued to be somewhat useful.
Not this shit book.

Gee what a surprise that the main big bad villain turned out to be the fmcs’ best friends boss, who the fmc has never met, and conveniently named “Boss Man”

I keep thinking back to the isador series by the same author. The first and only thing I’d ever read of hers for the longest time. And yet, even they were MEH writing. ESP compared to the concept that was wasted on shitty writing style.

I’m reading this complete series but might as well have rated the three books individually too. Although now I think it won’t really matter.
I rated the first book BARELY three stars, but now I feel like I need to take one away. Bc in the second book, already I was tired of this shit, and reading the MANY errors in it is too much. Just, ugh.

spoiled from their blurbs just now. then again, they were already thoughts I’d had while reading the first book. tiresome cliches.

-fmc has abusive ex later comes back to be even more abusive, or w/e. saw that shit coming from a mile away it stunk so much.
-fmc has bunch of die hard soul mates but OH NO! 😮 one of them prob has ulterior motives…what a shocker *i droned sarcastically* 😒

It was meh

The only notable/memorable bits was when she stole the motorcycle, and then the end scene where the owner of said motorcycle made the fmc promise him that the first time they got together, she’d wear his biker jacket and nothing else.

I see why these books of jsb are so short now. They always feel lacking, so why bother

forgot to note when reading the dyno monster series, but prob doesn’t really matter since EVERY SINGLE BOOK OF THIS AUTHORS HAS THE SAME GODDAMN PROBLEM.

The weird fucking grammatical errors. Missing / mistyped words, random words replaced with similar but completely wrong words.

I’m sure this bitch MEANT to say resent and not resemble.
