Not so much about zombies as world order collapsing and reforming.

Over the hump, enjoying this slow thoughtful book that has so much more to say than "Zombies are coming. To eat your effing brains".

A lot better than I thought it would be. Perhaps better than the movie which had a lot more blood and gore and a clearer narrative. The book is a chronicle of past events. You get more of the story of HOW the events of the movie were able to take place.
