dude literally when I first read IWWV the first thought that came into my head was "this is so A Separate Peace" and felt very vindicated upon reading that this book was a big inspo for IWWV in one of Rio's forewords. i'm soo excited for you to get to read this absolute pillar in the development of dark academia!
OH I HAD TO READ THIS FOR REQUIRED READING FOR AP ENGLISH AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT BACK THEN. I can only imagine how it hits now as an adult 👀
