i'm reading dorothy's thoughts, but it should not mean that i agree to her worldview, BUT I AM EMPATHIZING AS IF I'M LIKE HER

this girl's influence on me is so powerful that i am actually so immersed enough to also look forward to seeing marco's reaction and how dorothy's presence would unsettle him (but in fact, the subtext is the author's great command in writing, which makes their reader engrossed)

there are so many names and terms i'm unfamiliar with given that this is based upon a culture different from mine, but every time she speaks and describes something akin to a cultural context, it makes me wanna indulge in it, or maybe just search the contexts behind it so that i may not feel so left out
