Katniss is caring. she is caring because she saw that Peeta needed water really badly, so she found him in his disguise hiding in the rock and got him to safety. "He couldn't have survived without water"(250). This quote means that when Katniss saw her team mate in need of help, she went to him and gave him the help he needed to get better and stronger.also I think that they are really starting to like each other

one example of figurative language in the Hunger Games was "I'm biting my nails like there's no tomorrow"(224). this meant that with all the tension Katniss got very nervous and started to bit her nails.

Katniss is confused. while she was cutting down the Tracker Jackers nest two or three stung her. those kinds of bees make you hallucinate when you are stung. so when Katniss got stung she pulled out the stingers right after so her hallucinations weren't that bad but she still had them. "lucky you had the sense to pull the stingers out or you'd be a lot worse"(201). this meant that Katniss did the right thing.

Katniss is smart. She is smart Because over night she was sleeping in a tree and when she woke up there was a tracker jackers nest above her. They are worse then regular bee's. So she saw her opponents below her; so she cut the nest to fall in them. "Fear shoots through me, but I have the sense to keep it still". This means that Katniss is scared but she is staying strong and smart.

Katniss is worried. She is worried bc Peeta teamed up with the other tributes that were killing lots of the people. Also she is worried that Peeta will tell all of her secrets to them, that's the only reason why they kept Peeta; it was to find out what Katniss is hiding." This teaming up with the career wolf pack to hunt down the rest of us." This shows that Peeta joined up with the other tributes to not be killed.

Katniss is nervous. she is nervous bc the games just started and she needs to know what to grab to survive. "60 seconds to take the ring of tributes all equidistant from the Cornucopia"(148). this quote showed that as the seconds ticked down Katniss needed to see what to pick up or go to safety. therefore this shows that Katniss was nervous as the games started.

Katniss is mad. She is mad bc when the interviews were going on, Effie and Haymitch told Peeta to say he loves Katniss. She also got mad bc they kept it a secret. They wanted her to have a good reaction, not be faking it and make it obvious that its not real. "I slam my palms into his chest...you had no right..no right to go saying those things about me!" as you can see Katniss was very mad at Peeta for what he did

Katniss is brave. She is brave because when she was showing what she could do she shot a arrow at the game makers. ( she was aiming for a apple). "What will they do to me?...arrest me?.. Execute me?". That shows that even though Katniss knew something very bad could go wrong she still took the risk and came off very brave and strong!
