Bobby finds a loophole in saint Danes plan to destroy the territory. Bobby is a person who is always thinking no matter what kind of situation he is in.

Bobby finds out that saint Dane is trying to spray poison over the whole territory and kill the people. Why does saint Dane do this? What is bobby going to do about this.

Bobby and saint Dane meet and they have a fight. Bobby wins but he realizes that saint Dane is immortal. My opinion about this is that Saint Dane has a weakness because no matter how strong the person is there has to be a place where you can beat him.

The title is good because "Black Water" is a place where Saint Dane is trying to find so he can use it to destroy Eelong. Black Water is a key place in the book and a mysterious place that everyone wants to visit.

Kasha, another acolyte, doesn't know that his dad died and forces bobby to find him. At midnight one day in Eelong, a couple of cats came by kashas house and force bobby out of the house to help harvest crops over at south Eelong where human-eating monsters lurk called tangs. Bobby is at risk because if a tang appears bobby the lead traveler might die and the territory Eelong will be destroyed!!!

Bobby pendragon is at Eelong and he goes to a meeting where the council decides to start eating people. Saint Dane was in disguise at Eelong sgreed to that rule. Seigen in the traveler of Eelong and he is wise and intelligent. He is wise because he found out the whole mystery of Eelongs fall. But he fails to give out the secret to its fall because he dies saint Danes poison.
