whoopsie, guess who forgot to update??

but anyway, soooo glad I gave this book a second chance. so far its really doing a good job at sowing distrust throughout every page, making you second guess the motivations of each character. i feel like theres just under a third of the book left, and. still feel clueless as to who the assassin is, and who's in cahoots with them.

im honestly shocked I struggled to get into this the first time, bc im eating this shit upppppp rn its so good.

okay so... restarted this book. originally didn't love t when I originally read it, but now ive picked reading back up, and ive restarted this, its so good??? the magic system can be a little confusing at first, but thats only bc its so unique. its refreshing to read a fantasy book that reflects a culture that is not your own. educational, in its own way.

Two points:

1) Bo is cute as heck and I really like him.

2) I’m only on Chapter 7, yet I feel as though this book is moving at an insanely fast pace. I’m not sure if I like that or not.

This is a lot cuter than I expected, to be honest.
