So far, unimpressed. While it’s useful to learn the tools of the craft from reading great fiction, passages so often tread the line between stating the obvious and navel gazingly stating references i care little about. I’d prefer to learn the tricks of the trade while actively engaged, and if I am to analyse deeply, I want it to enable interesting conversations not self-satisfying observations.
