I've been half speed-reading this because I can't decide if I want to DNF or just get it over with.

And seriously, was there a single editor who looked at this? Half the mistakes I've seen seem like the author was maybe dictating and didn't bother to make sure what was understood/grabbed. I literally just read "A drum set was in the opposite corner, with a large base guitar between them." It's BASS, not BASE!

Okay, this is a reprint edition, I believe, but was there ever any editing done on this book? There's been one where someone says they're resigned to their faith (instead of fate), an instance where someone was penned to the door (instead of pinned) and a couple times where things like do/so/to have been swapped. And I'm not that far in...
