Thoroughly enjoying this great read. The words are so colorful and the people so real that I was instantly teleported into the small town of Lazarus, Texas. Too many nuggets but 2 that spoke to me: 'A man shows who he is by what he does with what he has' (FDR) and 'The strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack' (Kipling).
