I almost always finish books - but I couldn't make it through this one. While I am a fervent animal lover, the tone of this book put me on edge. I found it preachy. Ultimately, if you're an animal lover and believe in their rights, this book won't tell you anything new. If you believe animals are dispensable, this book probably is not going to change your mind.
