Notes:
(1) Two issues in and this is something of a letdown. Not that it's bad at all, it's much more polished than the original series. Though, being more polished means that it's not nearly as sick and twisted as before, which is what Millar's known for and what made it unique.
- This is a kind of sanitized cruelty, the sort you get all the time with edgier Joker stories.

Notes:
(1) Okay, I sort of understand now why this series needed a soft reboot. Essentially, it's because of "Big Game," which is the presently-unfolding Millarworld crossover series. "Nemesis," as it was, and especially from its ending, would have been an awkward fit.
- There are magic elements in this, for example, which I assume is because "The Magic Order" plays a role.

Notes:
(1) From the introduction, Millar makes it clear that this is a reboot/redo, not a sequel. The initial series was only 4 issues, and he wanted "more room to play" and integrate it better into Millarworld.
- I mean, it's an indie series, he chose the number of issues... unless Icon insisted on 4.
- It's not as if 5 issues gives you so much "more room to play" than 4.
