Oh its all coming together. He hasnt said it yet but know what draven must be :(

Theres a really thrilling feeling with Morgan as the narrator. Because many of the people around her are lying at any given time so you really dont know who to trust.

I just know Vesper is bad news. Draven is calling him out on all the right things and he hasnt had satisfying rebuttals for any of them.

Side note: back half of the book feels like a dnd campaign. Its such a good vibe.

I think the most frustrating thing about this is the fact that Morgan is shown so often that Draven isnt who OTHERS said he is. (Which i know is the point and Briar does a great job of preying on the dramatic irony). then theres Vesper being a sketchy little shit. And has no answers for the shit hes called out on and Morgan will defend him. BESTIE. COME ON.

Was it Morgans mother that wielded the blade first? Merlin probably wants Morgan to wield Excalibur regardless.

Alright i haven’t said it yet— but i want to record it here. Fairly certain Draven is at least part fae. Had the feeling back when they first met. Hes also very wolf coded waiting to see if it comes out in a more literal way. But def has something to do with the fae.


Side note: morgans denial of magic while yes is fuelled by the denial of herself — makes me wanna shake her around xD
