Alya's story was really short too..... why was Vahn's so long and everyone else's so short?

I also thought the stories would tie together somehow but it doesn't look like that will be the case

I assumed we would be getting the twin's stories together.

why was hers so short compared to Vahn's story? I seriously think we should have started before then or at least gone to the point she was tracked down
