i read this when i was 16 and am enjoying the reread. i read a lot of vonnegut’s work at 16. i think it shaped a lot of my worldviews. american modernism and postmodernism has always been my favorite genre & vonnegut introduced me. otherwise i just would have read angsty french authors forever hahah. anyways — metafiction already apparent.
