Hurrah for a heroine with chronic pain, but this person is on her 5th world-class specialist in 2 years. People with chronic illness are lucky to get a *diagnosis* in 3-7 years. Waiting lists are too long to be able to see that many specialists in that time— I had to wait 14 months to get my immunologist, and it has been 2.5 yrs since my rheumatologist referral was sent, no intake appointment yet scheduled.
