The first book I read by this author was That Kind of Guy and then proceeded to binge read the rest of The Queen’s Cove series because they were good. So when I seen that the author had published a hockey romance, I was so excited. However, this book is not an example of the rule ‘show not tell’ when writing. It was very slow, at some points painful to read, and there wasn’t nearly enough hockey.
