Hey, did you see that teen's skirt today? Oh man, I saw this teen at the library today--he was being such a teen.

Hah, Flannery! Teens these days are so . . . teen-y. I use "teen" all the time for my job when I talk to adults and do publicity, but that's because there isn't a good alternative; I try to avoid it when I talk to the "teens" themselves. (c: But that's a more recent thing, I think -- certainly not appropriate for the 15th century!
